I applaud Anne and Alexandra for reminding us to slow down and remember the wise words of the Slow Food Manifesto: A firm defense of quiet material pleasure is the only way to oppose the universal folly of Fast Life.
Want to sip your drink of choice, read your favorite book, ride a bike, walk to the beach, go antiquing-fishing-sailing-golfing or just quietly watch a beautiful sunset while putting your toes in the sand? If so, this newly renovated home is the right place for your vacation.

Landmark Holdings US, LLC envisions the "Cape Harbor" site to be developed as an extension of the existing character of downtown Mason Avenue's current mixed uses.  The architectural elements and varied building facades of today's Mason Avenue will be enhanced, expanded and blended in accordance with the anticipated pattern book and applied to the new revitalization Landmark Holdings proposes.

For many thousands of years, our species ate raw food. Historians believe sometime between 1,400,000 BC (in Africa) and 500,000 BC (in Asia) humans discovered fire, and cooking was born. So, what came next—did people then create cultural celebrations to coincide with the seasons, or did they use feasts to honor their gods?

This book is not intended to be encyclopedic, or an historic treatise. It is written to rescue, share, and increase our repertoire of treasured family recipes, and to ensure that traditional methods of cooking are not lost.
